John S. Kim is a New York State licensed acupuncturist and a member of Acupuncture Society of New York. After he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from William Paterson University, he continued his education at Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and received his Master of Science in Acupuncture.
As an enthusiastic practitioner of acupuncture, John integrates his knowledge of exercise physiology with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture Physical Medicine (AMP), and Kiiko Matsumoto (KM), specializing in treating a host of conditions, such as orthopedic injuries, sports injuries, depression/anxiety, headaches, stress, and digestive disorders.
In addition to acupuncture, John also mastered several complementary modalities, including cupping, Tui-Na, and gua sha, to provide the utmost care for his patients. John strongly values the communication with his patients. He approaches his patients with compassion and dedication, and believes in treating each individual holistically in order to find the root of the problems.
