Biography
Dr. Katya Czarina Pido Ditan of Chung Ying Physical Therapy & Acupuncture is an experienced physical therapist, currently serving the community of New York, NY since 2015. After Katya earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Cebu Doctors’ University, she acquired valuable experiences working under diversified settings, including major hospitals, private clinics, and home care services.
Katya strives to constantly stay up-to-date on her professional knowledge and rehabilitative skills to provide progressive yet nurturing treatments for her patients. She specializes in soft tissue mobilization for scar adhesions, myofascial release, kinesiology taping, and joint mobilization and manipulation. Patients visit Katya for spondylolysis, scoliosis, sports injuries, and varicose veins, to name a few. She works towards her patients’ speedy recovery using skilled therapeutic techniques and customized training plans.
Katya was brought up in the Philippines and is fluent in English and Tagalog. Her awareness and knowledge of cultural differences not only help minimizing patient’s discomfort during treatment, but also make her more accessible to patients from various cultural backgrounds.
