Dr. Qi Yu is a New York State licensed and national board-certified acupuncturist and massage therapist. He received training in massage therapy at Brooklyn Institute of Massage Therapy and continued his education at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where he obtained his Master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Combining his knowledge in oriental medicine and various massage therapy methods, Dr. Yu is dedicated to providing the best treatment possible for his patients.
Dr. Yu not only has an extensive background in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, he is also equipped with various massage therapy skills, including Swedish massage, Shiatsu, and reflexology. With 8 years of experience working as a message therapist and acupuncturist in New York, Dr. Yu is specialized in treating acute and chronic pain syndromes, including tennis elbow, sciatica, frozen shoulder, sprains, tenosynovitis, migraine headache, facial paralysis, and stomachache. He has also successfully helped patient with stress reduction, insomnia, smoking cessation, and menopause syndrome.
