Ernest Galang is a physical therapist with a keen eye for details. He has been practicing with passion for almost a decade. Ernest has rich experience in working with patients from various age groups. He now practices at Chung Ying Physical Therapy & Acupuncture, located in the Financial District and Forest Hills, NY.

Ernest earned his bachelor’s degree from Our Lady Fatima University and Far Eastern University. Following his bachelor’s degree, he interned at several medical institutions in the Philippines. As a part of his education, Ernest also attended various trainings and seminars over the years, including topics such as manual medicine and the biomechanical taping technique.

Ernest’s work involves restoration of normal movement and functionality. He treats an array of complaints involving pain, deformities, and injury. He is skilled at incorporating various therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF), Kinesio-taping, and electrotherapy, to help his patients reach their goals. Patients often see him for sports injuries, neurological conditions, acute or chronic muscle/joint pain, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, sciatica, and stroke rehabilitation etc.

Combining his experience and expertise, Ernest is dedicated to all his patients’ long-term well-being.
