Nicole Cimafranca is a caring and skilled physical therapist serving the community of New York City. She currently sees her patients at Chung Ying Physical Therapy & Acupuncture, located in the Financial District, NY. Throughout her clinical experience, Nicole has worked with patients from all age groups with a wide range of conditions. Nicole received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Felipe R. Verallo College.

In the goal of providing her patients the best care possible, Nicole often incorporates a variety of physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, PNF techniques, Maitland mobilizations, and electrotherapy. Through evidence-based practice and open communication, Nicole is able to tailor treatment plans based on each individual’s unique needs. Patients often see Nicole for sports injuries, post-surgical care, and chronic pain.

In addition to her professional career, Nicole is also a strong advocate for the underserved communities. She volunteered in providing home visits to individuals who cannot afford physical therapy treatment, most of whom are suffering from neurological conditions, such as Bell’s palsy, CVA, traumatic brain injury, and cerebral palsy. Through manual therapy and exercise programs, Nicole was able to help her patients achieve independence and an improved quality of life.

Nicole is fluent in English, Filipino, and Bisaya. She is dedicated to providing not only the highest quality of treatment, but also cultural sensitive care for all her patients. Nicole works to establish a nurturing and friendly environment where her patients’ concerns are heard, goals are set, and the path to recovery is clear.
